TVAPS attended a village fete in Wallingford along with our sister company Thames Valley Fire & Rescue Service. Below are a few of the pictures from that event. Many of the TVAPS Medical Staff are qualified in other emergency service fields such as Fire Fighting,  Fire Investigation, Search & Rescue, Water Rescue & Rope Rescue to name but a few. TVAPS along with our sister company TVFRS can provide all round cover or emergency response for any event or serious incident.

The start of an exercise where a car is on fire and a casualty trapped.

Here come the troops, TVAPS ambulance arrives after TVFRS and the driver is cut free from the wreckage.

The casualty is given treatment and oxygen by TVAPS medics. The casualty on this occasion was our very own Sid Bailey

The casualty is prepared by the TVAPS medics to be removed from the vehicle

The casualty is placed on a spinal board (otherwise known as a long board) and removed from the wreckage.

And there they go off to the hospital while the TVFRS crew pack up their kit.
